Friday AI ("we," "our," or "us") provides property management software and SMS-based communication services for landlords and property managers, including vacant-unit listings, public listing pages, and SMS tour scheduling with prospective renters. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Friday AI.

This policy applies to landlords and property managers (our customers), their tenants, and prospective renters who text Friday or visit public listing pages.

Information We Collect

Account & customer information (landlords / property managers)

Name, email, phone number, and account credentials
Business or team name (if provided)
Billing and subscription-related information
Property portfolio data you add to Friday

Property & listing information

Property addresses, unit numbers, and optional building names
Listing details you choose to publish (rent, beds/baths, photos, amenities, utilities, descriptions, showing availability)
Lease details (rent amount, dates, terms) when you upload or enter them
Maintenance and communication history tied to a property

Tenant information

Phone number (provided by the property manager or during lease onboarding)
Name and unit information (from lease or property records)
Email address (if provided)

Prospective renter / tour lead information

Phone number used to text Friday about a listing or tour
Name and other details you voluntarily provide in SMS
Tour preferences and booking information (requested times, confirmation status)
SMS conversation content related to qualifying and scheduling a tour

Communication data

SMS message content you send to or receive from Friday AI
Photos or videos shared for maintenance or listing purposes
Message timestamps and delivery status

Technical & usage data

Basic device and log information when you use the Friday website or app (for security and reliability)
Address lookup / autocomplete signals when landlords enter property addresses (via our address provider)

How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

Provide and operate the Friday platform for landlords and property managers
Facilitate communication between tenants and property managers
Process maintenance requests and coordinate vendors
Answer questions about leases, rent, and properties
Publish and display listings that landlords choose to make public
Qualify prospective renters and schedule tours by SMS on behalf of the listing owner
Send tour confirmations, reminders, and related transactional messages
Send building updates and emergency notifications where applicable
Bill for and administer subscriptions
Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and secure the service

Public listings

When a landlord or property manager publishes a listing, information they include (such as address or general location, rent, unit details, photos, and description) may be visible to anyone with the listing or catalog link. Do not publish information you do not want made public.

How We Share Information

We may share information with:

Your property manager or landlord — for tenant messaging, maintenance, and leasing activity on their properties
The listing owner — when you inquire about or book a tour for their listing (phone number and relevant SMS / tour details)
Service vendors (e.g., plumbers, electricians) when needed for maintenance you requested
Service providers that help us operate Friday, such as SMS delivery, hosting, authentication, address autocomplete, analytics (if enabled), and AI processing for message assistance
Authorities when required by law or to protect safety, rights, or the integrity of the service

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

SMS-Specific Information

Message storage

Messages are stored securely for providing the service and record-keeping
Tenant and prospect message history may be retained as part of property management and leasing records
You may request deletion subject to legal, lease, and legitimate business record-keeping needs

Tour / prospect SMS

If you text Friday about a listing or tour, we process your messages to respond, qualify interest, and schedule showings. That conversation and your phone number are shared with the landlord or property manager for that listing so they can complete the tour and leasing process.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain property management or leasing records. Listing and tour-lead data may be retained while the customer account is active and for a reasonable period afterward unless a valid deletion request applies.

Your Rights

Opt-Out (SMS)

Text STOP at any time to opt out of routine messages
Text HELP for help
Emergency and safety-critical messages may still be sent where permitted
Tenants may also contact their property manager to discontinue service fully

Data access

Request a copy of personal information we hold about you
Request correction of incorrect information
Request deletion of your data (subject to property management, leasing, and legal record-keeping requirements)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to correct.
